Dragonian (Fire):

This race appears to be cross between a humanoid creature and a fire dragon (thought it walks upright, like a human) and is not quite as large (this race stands about 7' tall).

Abilities: Explanation and rulings for Abilities:
Armor-points: The Dragonian has a natural scale coat that has the following defenses:
Armor-points: 10 (+ 1-D6 per 5 levels advanced above level #1).
Damage-reduction: 1 (+1 per 30 levels advanced above level #1).

Base Defense: 8.
Body Weapons: Attacks per turn: 3 (claw, claw, bite).
Damage: Claw: 1-D6, Claw: 1-D6, Bite: 1-D12.
Note: Claw damage will increase by 1-D6 per 5 levels advanced above level #1.
Bite damage will increase by 1-D12 per 5 levels advanced above level #1.

Dragonian Scale: Even though the Fire Dragonian cannot wear armor, it has a natural, durable, scale coat that increases in its durability as it advances in levels. Dragonian Scale armor heals at the following rate:

1-D4 points per melee turn.
1-D12 x3 per travel turn.

Note: The Dragonian can use a shield, but this will negate its fire breathing ability.

Fire Resistance: This race will resist 1-D12 points of fire damage per 10 levels advanced.
Level: Explanation:
1st - 10th: 1-D12 fire damage be resisted when burned by heat.
11th - 20th: 1-D12 x2 fire damage be resisted when burned by heat.
21st - 30th: 1-D12 x3 fire damage be resisted when burned by heat.
31st - 40th: 1-D12 x4 fire damage be resisted when burned by heat.
41st - 50th: 1-D12 x5 fire damage be resisted when burned by heat.
Etc.

Example: At 23rd level, I can resist 1-D12 x3 fire damage each time I am damaged by heat, or fire. I am burned for 31 points of damage by the breath of a young fire dragon. Before taking the 31 damage, I roll a D12. This time, I roll a 7 (7x3 = 21). 31 - 21 = 10. I only take 10 damage from the dragons fire-breath.

Flying: This creature can fly at will. It's flight speed is that of a warhorse at full gallop.
Life-points: This race will begin with 50 life-points at level #1.
Life-points per level advanced: 1-D10.

Fire Breath: Though not nearly as powerful as the fire breath of a dragon, the fire breath of the Fire Dragonian is not to be underestimated. There will be a 2 in 6 chance that each time the Dragonian attacks with its claws and bite, it will breath fire, searing its foe for 1-D6 fire damage (a roll of 1-2 will indicate it has breathed fire). Note: Fire damage will increase 1-D6 per 7 levels advanced above level #1.
